I’ve I’ve been thinking about this topic a lot lately..
It seems like the great enemy of The Church isn’t necessarily the World Spirit that criticizes Christianity. That has always been the case, and will always be the case (Jn 15:18). It’s the world Spirit that is snaking its way into Church doctrine. It’s the redefining of Scripture and the abandoning of historical precedence.
Now more than ever we have to prioritize a biblical literacy. There is too much junk on the internet for young people to consume. As it gets more difficult to hold fast to biblical standards, I think we will see more and more people begin to redefine Scripture in order to make God more appealing to people.

This is something we have prayed on for awhile, and it seems like now is the right time. We have seen literally millions of people hear the Gospel message and receive encouragement through social media, but it also feels like this is ONLY the Beginning.

Waiting on God is active. It’s dealing with your issues. It’s healing. It’s growing. It’s maturing into someone that is expecting the fight ahead. We can’t afford to be complacent in the waiting.
There are different ways we confirm if we think something is from God… and one of the most practical things is seeing if Scripture backs it up.
God will never contradict himself. So if what you THINK is God is opposing his WORD, then you are WRONG. 😅
The more I read Scripture the more I realize I’m not the hero. I’m the one that messes up, misses the mark, and ultimately NEEDS Jesus.
Our world will consume us if we let it - expectations & pressures will cripple us if we are solely depending on ourselves to handle it all. Jesus calls us to him and wants to give us peace and rest. Trust the greater plan than you can see. 📍🙌🏼

This video is NOT meant to excuse Christian’s.. most of my platform if you follow is me trying to encourage and challenge believers to focus on the sanctifying work of The Holy Spirit.
This post is meant to show the hypocrisy of judgment when it comes to Christianity as a whole. People will point to events and people in history who said they were Christian, and use their behavior to discredit God… but that just isn’t an honest argument.
This also speaks to many of us who have taken individual experiences with people and projected that onto an entire community. Guard your heart from bitterness, because the enemy would love to poison the your perspective. 📍

The latest video of Steven Crowder is a display that shows what happens when when our priorities get out of wack. too often men justify sacrificing their families for the benefit of their career… it’s NOT worth it. And God never asked you to do that.
Godly men understand the level of responsibility it takes to lead a family. And if you’re not caring for that first ministry, then you shouldn’t be preaching to ANYONE. 📍
Will what you want match up with what God wants at times? Of course. But the priority and order is essential. If we’re not careful we will use faith as an excuse to start believing for whatever we want to.
There are times when God might want something different for your life. And having faith is understanding this truth and recognizing that God is sovereign and good. 📍
Got definitely smiles at what we achieve. I think he loves seeing us succeed in our calling. But I also think that we tend to focus on markers that puff people up.
Please don’t hear what I’m not staying.. Yes we should celebrate growing churches and ministries. Yes we can admire how God is expanding the influence of some… but we have to remember to appreciate and celebrate virtue and integrity.
When is the last time you complimented someone because of their character? Or told someone they were doing great as a parent? It’s easy to celebrate work & life achievements.. but we must be intentional on admiring the Godly Characteristics that led to that. 📍
